CEO Jonas: "What a week! Thank you, InfoComm19"

June 18, 2019

This was our second year at InfoComm, one of the biggest AV shows in the world, and we’re happy to say that it was another huge success for Huddly. We announced exciting new partnerships, debuted our cutting-edge new AI technology, Huddly Canvas, and saw great interest in our products, at our own booth as well as our partners’.

We had a chat with CEO Jonas Rinde on the final day as the show was closing to get his thoughts on what was a fantastic event for the company.

Tools for teams

“It’s been a really action-packed three days for the team here in Orlando. The response to our new Huddly Canvas technology has been awesome, it’s been great to talk with our partners and to see our cameras everywhere, and meet with customers old and new. After Huddly’s wildly successful InfoComm debut in 2018, I think this year might have been even better.

“Our theme this year, as prominently displayed on the booth, was “tools for teams”. The technology we are developing is absolutely cutting edge, and it’s exciting stuff. But what our customers love is how our technology helps them. We’re very proud to build tools for teams here at Huddly – powerful, radically helpful products and features that use AI to support team collaboration and make people’s workday that little bit easier.

“We are fortunate to work with truly industry-leading and ambitious companies who share our vision for the modern workplace. In the run-up to the conference, we announced partnerships with Lenovo, Yamaha, Stem Audio, and Quicklaunch, as well as the next step in our partnership with longtime partner Google. It was also terrific to see such interest at our partners’ booths too, and thanks again to Crestron, Avocor, NEC, and Zoom. You can check out all those fantastic solutions for yourself over on our Solutions page.

“Thanks to our partners’ support, Huddly cameras were present at 12 booths across the event and generated a lot of interest wherever they were displayed. We are very proud of both our existing and new partnerships and look forward to working together even more closely in the future – make sure you subscribe to the Huddly blog for upcoming news on that.

Huddly Canvas, talk of the town

“Only one year ago, we introduced the world to Huddly IQ, our AI-powered camera that features smart automated user experiences and advanced data insights. This year, we took our AI capabilities to the next level with Huddly Canvas, a new technology that makes it easy to bring content from analogue whiteboards to your digital workflow.

“We showcased Canvas with an interactive game and a practical meeting room demo which demonstrated how our technology can bring an analogue whiteboard into a video meeting. The team has really outdone themselves with Canvas, and I look forward to showing our customers the exciting real-life applications of the technology.

Thank you

“Now that this fantastic event has come to a close, I’d like to say a big thank you on behalf of the Huddly team to everyone who contributed to making it such a success. Thank you to our partners who supported us throughout the event, thank you to our customers who took the time to stop by our booth and expressed such an interest in our technology, and thank you to the team who worked so hard to make our vision for this event come true. Thank you, InfoComm19!

“We have a lot more in store for you this year, so make sure to stay tuned.”
