Regional Director Americas North East

The Huddly Regional Director for the North East Americas Region is a senior leadership position with a primary focus on driving sales growth, strategic business development, and effective channel management within the specified geographic area. This role demands an ambitious, seasoned professional who possesses an in-depth understanding of the unified communications and collaboration (UCC) industry, particularly in the Videoconferencing sector. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of spearheading successful Regional Development, substantial Channel Management experience, and consistently surpassing revenue targets.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored for the North East Americas Region, harmonized with Huddly's overarching goals.
- Lead revenue growth initiatives by identifying novel business opportunities, recruiting and developing channel partners, winning new key accounts, expanding market presence, and optimizing sales potential both geographically and across verticals.
Channel Partner Management:
- Recruit, foster, and diligently manage strong relationships with pivotal channel partners, including VARs, system integrators, and service providers.
- Strategically establish a regional channel partner framework that encompasses coverage into Fortune 1000 enterprises, geographical coverage, and diverse industry verticals.
- Drive regional channel enablement and activation.
- Collaborate closely with partners to create collaborative business plans and ensure well-devised go-to-market strategies.
- Formulate and implement regional business plans that chart a path to sustainable growth and expanded market penetration.
- Conduct analysis, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences to pinpoint growth opportunities and inform astute strategic decisions.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key customers and prospective clients in the region.
- Attentively comprehend customer requirements, deliver tailored solutions, and guarantee elevated levels of customer satisfaction.
- Engage in seamless collaboration with internal teams, such as marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure alignment of strategies and initiatives.
- Contribute valuable insights from the field to shape and enhance the overall customer experience.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Responsible for key performance indicators (KPIs) that track regional sales performance, pipeline advancement, and revenue attainment.
- Responsibility for the region's forecasting efforts.
- Provide regular, insightful progress reports to senior management and quarterly QBRs.
This is you:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Demonstrable success across 8-10 years in leadership roles within the technology or UCC industry in the North East Americas Region preferably.
- Noteworthy 8+ years of experience in Regional / Territory Management.
- Substantial 5+ years of experience specifically within the video conferencing industry.
- Proven track record of 5+ years in effective channel management.
- Expertise in high-touch sales in B2B.
- A strong grasp of unified communications and collaboration solutions.
- A proven history of consistently driving revenue growth and surpassing sales objectives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Innate strategic thinking capability, adept at translating strategy into actionable plans.
- Native English and Spanish knowledge a plus.
- Readiness and initiative to travel as needed to develop the North East Americas Region.
