UX Designer

Oslo, Norway

The Huddly design team is an interdisciplinary group. We value visual design, UX design and industrial design. We use prototyping and research as equal parameters for designing our products and experiences. We work closely with our engineers, and are on a quest of bringing ground breaking designs to the world.

As a UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for the look, feel and architecture of our Huddly products, working across on-device user interface, mobile app and web. You will be part of the team that drive the design for systematic and innovative product experiences. Our team members combine great visual sense and user empathy, with a deep understanding of the subtle nuance that makes a complex product feel simple and intuitive. Huddly products span the physical and digital worlds and, in addition to classic graphical user interface, use machine learning and AI to define the next generation of interaction.


Responsibilities

  • Ideation of new and fresh UX ideas, products and concepts
  • Creation of user flows, wireframes, information architecture and interface mockups
  • Collaborating cross-functionally in agile teams
  • Collaborating with teams in other offices (both in the US and India)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Passionate about design
  • Expert understanding of interaction, usability and visual design principles
  • Deep understanding of UX research methods and how to take action on findings
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and similar tools
  • Experience from designing consumer electronics UX is preferred
  • Strong ability to collaborate

Experience

  • Both experienced designers and graduates are encouraged to apply
  • MS or BS with some experience
  • Prior experience with high-volume consumer electronics is a bonus.

This position may be located in one of our offices in Oslo, Norway. You will need to have a valid work permit for Norway.
