Huddly announces Gallery View to enable equal equity in video meetings
We recently announced Gallery View, an upcoming smart experience that helps give everyone an equal voice in video meetings. It supports composite people feed in Microsoft Teams Rooms. Huddly IQ will be the first of our cameras to offer Gallery View with an upcoming software update.

At Huddly, many of us continue to work from home at least a few times a week, and we’ve experienced first-hand why communication in a hybrid office can be tricky.
Therese Byhring, User Experience Designer, explains: “Everyone should be able to contribute equally in a conversation. But people tend to give preference to those who are physically close to them. We call this proximity bias. In video calls, this means that remote participants will be able to connect more easily with those seated at the front of the meeting room, closest to the camera, as opposed to those seated in the back.”
With Gallery View, participants at the back of a room get more visual space on the screen, making it easier for the team to engage in productive conversations with everyone.
