Huddly C1 now supports next generation IntelliFrame with AI data channel

At InfoComm today, we’re excited to announce support for enhanced IntelliFrame features on Huddly C1, bringing new AI-powered experiences like IntelliFrame people labels to Microsoft Teams meeting rooms. Visit us at booth C9415 to learn more.

Meeting rooms are full of information about people, activity, and interactions, but until now, much of that context has remained invisible to the collaboration platform. That's why meeting transcripts, recaps, and AI-generated summaries often lack important context.

For example, have you ever tried to follow up on a meeting only to discover that half of the conversation is attributed to "Conference Room 3"? Impossible to know who actually said what and who owns the action item.

Huddly's AI-native audio-video devices are designed to capture that missing context, building a structured model of the room that captures who is present, who is speaking, who is being addressed, where people are located, and how they interact.

Now, with support for next generation IntelliFrame on Huddly C1, that understanding can be shared with Microsoft Teams through a dedicated AI data channel.

It's an early example of a broader shift toward AI systems that can understand not just conversations, but the people, activity, and spaces around them.

Bo Pintea, EVP Business Development at Huddly, sees this new intelligent camera standard as an important step toward that future: "Microsoft Teams brings together the knowledge, conversations, and workflows that drive collaboration across an organization. Huddly's AI-native devices extend that understanding into the physical meeting room by providing real-time awareness of people, activity, and context within the space. Together, they create the foundation for a new generation of intelligent meeting experiences."

"We believe the future is the intelligent room, powered by devices that give AI the eyes, ears, and understanding to see and hear every participant clearly, to know who is speaking and where they are."– Albert Kooiman, Microsoft

Albert Kooiman, General Manager, Teams Partner Engineering and Customer Enablement at Microsoft, describes this vision further: "We believe the future is the intelligent room, powered by devices that give AI the eyes, ears, and understanding to see and hear every participant clearly, to know who is speaking and where they are. When you use Teams that intelligence does not have to end when the meeting does. It can show how a space is being used and whether a room is ready for the next meeting."

As AI becomes more deeply integrated into the workplace, access to real-world context will become increasingly important. We're excited to continue working with Microsoft to help bring that intelligence into meeting spaces worldwide.
