Can I connect the Huddly camera to a hub or an extender?
Huddly cameras are designed mainly to suit laptop environments, small to medium huddle rooms and conference rooms using a USB-C connector cable, with a Plug-and-Play connection. As most of our cameras are Microsoft Teams certified/compatible, as well as Zoom certified/compatible, they should work in setups using certified hardware for this.
Huddly cameras also come in bundles with our partners.
For all other hubs, we cannot guarantee that connecting the Huddly camera will be successful or provide optimal image quality. They have not yet been fully tested across all manufacturers, models, and configurations. This is due to the differing standards of communication between devices and across networks.
Huddly does not currently provide technical assistance for these issues.
If you are experiencing issues when using a hub/extender, please test the camera using a direct connection to your laptop/device to see if this helps.
