How do I find the serial number on the Huddly camera?
In communication with Huddly Support, you will be asked what the serial number of your camera is. This is a guide of where to find the serial number.
Why we ask for a serial number
The serial number identifies the exact unit, its warranty status and its production batch. Without it we cannot verify warranty or contract coverage and we cannot connect your case to known issues affecting that hardware revision. This is also required information if needed to escalate the case to level 2 (Product and Engineering) support.
The Huddly ONE, Huddly Canvas, Huddly IQ and the Huddly GO (EOL) all have the serial number written on the underside of the foot.
For Huddly C1, Huddly Crew, Huddly L1 and Huddly S1, there is a QR code on the bottom of the cameras that needs to be scanned to identify the serial number. When you scan this code, a string of information will appear (e.g. MBLK,810-00011,A1,52134A0071,90:E2:FC:90:4B:B3). The serial number is the part in bold in the example.
- Please note that certain QR code scanners sometimes only show the first numbers (810-00011) when the camera QR codes are scanned. If this happens, please use a different QR code scanner app.
You can also locate the serial number of your Huddly camera by copying the camera info from the Huddly App, and paste it in a text document/email. This includes more information than just the serial number, and Support might ask you to do this to get more details if you have a ticket open with them.
For Huddly C1, Huddly Crew, Huddly L1 and Huddly S1 cameras, you will need to scan the QR code on the bottom of the camera using a QR code app, and the serial number will be a ten-digit number starting with the number 5.
The Huddly L1 and Crew camera serial numbers will include an A, Huddly S1 includes a C, and for Huddly C1 it's an L. The example mentioned shows us this is an L1/Crew camera: MBLK,810-00011,A1,52134A0071,90:E2:FC:90:4B:B3.
If you scan the PoE to USB Adapter, the serial number will be a ten-digit number starting with the number 5 as well. The old Network Adapter (H3BA) serial number will include a B. If you have a new USB Adapter (H3SA), the serial number will include an F.

The Huddly IQ, Huddly Canvas and the Huddly ONE start with a letter. In the example picture below, the serial number is B40K00577.

For Huddly GO, the serial number starts with a digit. In the example picture below, the serial number is 43J00858.
